Social Service Assistant:
Assist in providing client services in a wide variety of fields, such as psychology, rehabilitation, or social work, including support for families. May assist clients in identifying and obtaining available benefits and social and community services. May assist social workers with developing, organizing, and conducting programs to prevent and resolve problems relevant to substance abuse, human relationships, rehabilitation, or dependent care.

Translator:
Interpret oral or sign language, or translate written text from one language into another.

Regional Planning Aide:
Compile data from various sources, such as maps, reports, and field and file investigations, for use by city planner in making planning studies.

Meeting, Convention, and Event Planner:
Coordinate activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements for group meetings, events, or conventions.

Program Director:
Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in preparation of radio or television station program schedules and programs, such as sports or news.

Postsecondary Education Administrator:
Plan, direct, or coordinate research, instructional, student administration and services, and other educational activities at postsecondary institutions, including universities, colleges, and junior and community colleges.

Probation Officer:
Provide social services to assist in rehabilitation of law offenders in custody or on probation or parole. Make recommendations for actions involving formulation of rehabilitation plan and treatment of offender, including conditional release and education and employment stipulations.

Training and Development Manager:
Plan, direct, or coordinate the training and development activities and staff of an organization.

General Manager:
Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.

Sales Representative:
Sell goods for wholesalers or manufacturers to businesses or groups of individuals. Work requires substantial knowledge of items sold.

Texas Troops to Teachers (TTT) is a federally funded program designed to assist veterans to become teachers in their next careers. 

Many professionals seek out and earn professional licenses and certifications after graduating from college. Licensure and certification credentials support the qualifications of professionals in their field and may be required by your employer. Certification recognizes professionals who have achieved a specific level of training or experience and is generally voluntarily. Licensure is typically mandated by an accrediting agency that gives individuals the permission to practice within their profession.
