The Center for Faculty Engagement

The Center for Faculty Engagement supports a holistic conceptualization of faculty work that integrates teaching, research, and service by promoting high-impact practices (HIPs), engaged scholarship, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) and fosters a campus climate supportive of faculty excellence and engagement.

Who are we?

  • Director Lisa Bunkowski, Ph.D., Ed.D., provides oversight to the center. 

  • Director of Community-Based Learning, Morgan Lewing, Ed.D., provides oversight for the Service Learning initiative.

  • Administrative Coordinator, Jason Douglas, M.Ed., provides administrative support to the Center and coordinates various Center activities, including Collaboratory.

Services and Programs

  • Resources and evidence-based practices related to engaged and integrative practices

  • Collaboration with the University Library, the Warrior Center for Student Success, and other university offices to support your teaching and the success of your students 

  • High-Impact Practices & Student Success Faculty Fellowship Program and Support of High-Impact Practices

  • Administrative support for Collaboratory and our Community partner network

  • Support for faculty review processes

  • Support for the Engaged Scholarship and the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning

  • Oversight and facilitation of ACUE Effective Teaching Practices courses
