After you have submitted the form, you will be notified by the library via e-mail about your eligibility and the status of your laptop request. The e-mail will contain instructions on when and where you will pick up the equipment. If you continue to be enrolled for the following academic semester, you can apply to use the equipment until you are no longer registered as a student. When you are no longer enrolled in classes, you must return ALL equipment. |
Laptop Specs |
The library primarily provides Dell Latitude and Lenovo Thinkpad laptops. They are equipped with webcams, Intel i5 processors, 16gb RAM, 512gb hard drive, and run Windows 10. Every laptop comes with the Microsoft Office suite installed, Microsoft Edge and Chrome web browsers, and the basic software needed to complete coursework at TAMUCT. The laptops are configured to match the classroom computers on campus in function and usability. Any additional or specialty software can be installed upon request, pending licensing requirements.
