The Reserves area is located behind the Circulation desk. Library staff will retrieve materials for patron check-out.
University Library provides a Faculty Reserves service to support instructional programs. Faculty may place high demand class-related materials (pamphlets, books, tests, video, etc.) on reserve for restricted loan periods.
Length of the loan period is at the discretion of the instructor. The options are:

TAMUCT Course Textbooks
The University Library collects one copy of each textbook used in a A&M-Central Texas course. These books are available for 4 hour in-house check-outs at the University Library in Warrior Hall. Textbooks are purchased using departmental textbook lists several weeks before the start of the new semester as funding allows. Books that are late additions to courses may not be purchased in a timely manner, and will be late to arrive.
State-Adopted Textbooks
The University Library also purchases a representative collection of state-adopted textbooks used by area schools in Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Belton, and Temple. The University Library owns the teacher's edition of each textbook, and may only lend them to A&M-Central Texas curriculum and instruction students. This collection is updated yearly as funding allows. The Teacher's Editions are located behind the circulation desk.
