Study Rooms

Texas A&M University Central Texas library has 10 study rooms available during library hours. Library patrons may reserve a study rooms located on the first floor of the university library. Reservations may be made up to 14 days in advance in person at the circulation desk or by phone (254) 519-5798. Reservation time may not exceed 4 hours. The occupant may extend their existing reservation if there are no reservations after their existing time slot.

When placing a reservation patrons agree to the following guidelines:

  • Patron must check in and out at the Circulation Desk.
  • Patrons with reservations must occupy the room within the first half-hour of the reservation period or the reservation is forfeited, and the room becomes available for others on a first-come, first-served basis for the remainder of the reservation period.
  • Maintain a moderate noise level that does not disturb others in adjoining rooms or outside the rooms.
  • Patrons must clean up after themselves and leave the room in good condition for the next users.
  • Vacate study rooms 10 minutes before building closing time.
  • Study rooms are not intended to provide privacy. Library staff may enter the rooms as needed for security, maintenance, or other issues.
  • Children and service animals may not be left alone in study rooms at any time.
  • Patrons are responsible for personal property. Don't leave items unattended. The Library is not liable for loss/damage to personal property.

Patrons may use the second floor study rooms on a first-come, first-served basis. During the winter break, spring break, and interim periods all study rooms will be first-come, first-served.
