Style Manuals

The following writing style manuals are those most often used for theses. The university library has copies of the newest additions of each available for students to either check out or use at the Reference Desk in the main library. In the Websites tab of this guide, you can find links to trusted websites for each style.

If you choose to purchase your own copy, be sure to purchase the most recent edition. Contrary to popular belief, style requirements can and do change from one version to the next.

A Helpful Hint: The Thesis Office uses the most recent style guides when checking all submitted works!
