Thesis Manual and General Checklist

The Thesis Manual is written and produced by the Graduate School in cooperation with the Thesis Office. It serves as a guide to help graduate students and their committee members through the process of preparing and filing their completed thesis or record of study in partial fulfillment of their program's requirements for graduation.

The Thesis Pre-Submission Checklist highlights material in the Thesis Manual to provide a quick guide to thesis formatting concerns during the development of the thesis. This checklist does NOT serve as a substitute for the manual, but rather as a quick guide to help students understand key requirements necessary for final submission and approval of their work.

The Basic Thesis Template is written and produced by the Graduate School in cooperation with the Thesis Office. It is available for student use as a template for their own thesis or as a guide to follow.

Forms

Pursuing the thesis option is a major undertaking. Throughout the process, there are several forms the student is required to submit to the Graduate School Office. These include the Thesis Proposal Form, the Schedule for Thesis Defense Form, and the Thesis Approval Form.

For more information on each, hover over the information icon next to each PDF file below or read their full descriptions in the Thesis Manual.
