A&M-Central Texas Students

If you are an A&M-Central Texas student, your student ID card is your library card. Simply present it at the circulation desk when checking out materials. A&M-Central Texas students also enjoy borrowing privileges from the community libraries that participate in the TexShare and WarriorConnect programs. Students can obtain their TexShare or WarriorConnect cards at the A&M-Central Texas Library’s circulation desk.

Don’t have your ID card yet? New students can obtain an ID card from the Warrior Tech Desk, located on the first floor of Founder’s Hall, in room 114.

A&M-Central Texas Employees

If you work at the university, your employee ID card acts as your library card. A&M-Central Texas employees also enjoy borrowing privileges from the community libraries that participate in the TexShare and WarriorConnect programs. Employees can obtain their TexShare or WarriorConnect cards at the A&M-Central Texas Library’s circulation desk.

Alumni Students:

A&M-Central Texas alumni can stop by the Alumni Office (Founders Hall, room 416) on Mondays-Fridays from 8 am- 5 pm to get a verification letter. Students who graduated from American Technological University, University of Central Texas, or Tarleton State University-Central Texas before 2009 also qualify as legacy alumni at A&M-Central Texas. The alumni letter can be brought to the library to enable borrowing privileges.

Texas Residents:

The TexShare program is a statewide program, made up of 689 participating libraries. If your local library participates in the TexShare program, you can request a TexShare card that grants you borrowing privileges at all other member libraries. Please contact your local library to inquire about their participation in the program or to obtain a TexShare card. City of Killeen libraries do not participate in the TexShare program, but they do participate in the program below.

Killeen Residents:

The A&M-Central Texas Library partners with the City of Killeen libraries through the WarriorConnect program, which grants some Killeen residents borrowing privileges at the A&M-Central Texas Library. Please visit a City of Killeen library to obtain your WarriorConnect card.

Visit Circulation Services for more information about lending. The Lending Services tab, located on that page, lists details on lending limits and lending periods, which are based on the borrower’s connection to the library. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to use by phone or through our online chat system.
