Interlibrary Loan: Home

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is the service that gives you access to the resources of other libraries. You can use ILL to borrow books, media and get PDFs of articles and book chapters. The Tipasa platform allows you to view all of your requests on a single page, provides links to articles, and details about the status of your requests and item due dates. You also can submit new requests from this interface. You will receive emails from us with status updates.

Help Using ILL: For help using ILL, see our step-by-step instructions

Tipasa

Tipasa uses Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication, so if you are already logged on to Canvas or Outlook, you will not have to log in again to access your interlibrary loan account. However, If you are just opening up a new browser and your first stop is the library, you may be asked to log in.

Login to Tipasa: Use your SSO username (full email address) and password. From Tipasa, you can make ILL requests, check on the status of these requests, and access electronic items once they are delivered.

Interlibrary Loan Proxy Users

The library proxy checkout program allows university faculty and staff members to authorize other individuals to check out library materials on their behalf. For more information about our proxy program, see our faculty services webpage.
